Dr. Stewart earned his medical degree from Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, Huntington, WV. Following his graduation from medical school, Dr. Stewart completed his residency training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Paul School of Medicine, El Paso, TX. He has completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center/Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY.
