Dr. Michael Hwang is a board-certified and fellowship-trained Radiologist at AdventHealth Medical Group – Radiology at Central Florida specializing in women’s image-guided evaluations. Dr. Hwang earned his medical degree from Michigan State University. He went on to complete his Diagnostic Radiology residency with Larkin Community and Palm Springs General Hospital at Nova Southeastern University in Miami, FL. After his residency training, Dr. Hwang went on to complete his breast imaging fellowship with North Carolina Cancer Hospital at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. Dr. Hwang currently services as Diagnostic Radiologist in the women’s imaging section for AHMG – Radiology at Central Florida with a focus on mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and breast-related interventions. His goals are early detection, specific diagnosis, and a relaxed, effortless patient experience when procedures become necessary.
